Joanne Church has been affiliated with RRC since its inception in 1981. In 2005, she became the President of RRC. She also oversees the production process of RRC Product Packages that Nielsen (formerly Arbitron) subscribers purchase. Joanne graduated from Trinity College, in Washington, DC with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science. Before the RRC, Joanne worked for the Arbitron Company for ten years doing a variety of tasks including systems design, and Manager of Production and Radio Market Reports. Joanne is the mother of two sons. She is an avid sports fan, especially when it comes to baseball and basketball. Joanne vacations at her Idaho homestead on Jughandle Mountain in McCall, ID.
Carol Jacobs joined the RRC in 1997 as Office Manager and is responsible for order processing, HR, accounting and general office administration. Carol graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, University College. Her previous work experience includes accounting, order processing and contract administration positions with various information providers. Carol lives in Damascus, Maryland with her husband, Gary, but she spends as much time as possible at her second home in Wilmington, North Carolina
Manager of Client Services
Carl Nelson is the Manager of Client Services at the Radio Research Consortium, where most of his time is spent assisting non-commercial radio stations with analysis of Nielsen (formerly Arbitron) and Scarborough data. Carl's experience includes over thirty years in broadcast research, with the majority of those years in public radio research (including research at National Public Radio) and nine years at Arbitron. Carl graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Radio, Television and Film.
Product Development and Processing
Lori joined the RRC in 1994 and has worked on everything from data processing to software design. Lori managed the migration of ListenerPC software to the cloud and continues to improve that RRC staple. Currently, she is working on revamping RRConline.org and processing the data that stations receive.
Manager, PPM Client Services
Dave Sullivan is RRC's Manager of PPM Client Services, assisting non-commercial radio stations with the acquisition and analysis of Nielsen's (formerly Arbitron) PPM data. Dave served as Senior Training Specialist at Arbitron from 2000 to 2007 and his background in radio also includes sales experience with WWMX-FM and WBAL-AM in Baltimore, MD, as well as underwriting experience with WTMD-FM in Towson, MD. He has also worked as an audio engineer and play-by-play announcer for several stations. Dave graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and did Graduate studies at Emerson College in Boston, MA.
Maria Del Borrelo
Maria Del Borrello joined the RRC June 2014 as a part-time employee to assist in production and general office administration. Maria lives in Damascus with her husband Mike and five children.
